As a major Alberta city, Edmonton has come up with a reliable public transit system. The Edmonton Transit System (ETS), the city's public transit service, governs bus and light rail (LRT) operations. Aside from those, it also operates the Disabled Adult Transportation Services (DATS). Another service of the ETS is the Park & Ride service, which is offered for special events.
