With cultural diversity, Edmonton is a melting pot of people with varied spiritual outlooks. The first Canadian mosque--the Al-Rashid Mosque--is located at Fort Edmonton Park. The city has a Maronic Catholic church on 76th Avenue and 98th Street. It also has the Sacred Heart Church on "Church Street," also known as 96 Street, within Edmonton's city area. Another place of worship is the International Buddhist Progress Society Edmonton, located at 10232 - 103 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
